Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Olive Cove, Inc. is a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 81-3259700) with a Candid Gold Seal of Transparency. After you donate, you will receive an electronic Contribution Receipt by email. No goods or services are exchanged for your donation.

What payment methods are accepted?

Olive Cove accepts Mastercard, Visa, and Discover (debit or credit), ACH bank transfers from checking or savings accounts, stock donations (shares, mutual funds, ETFs via StockDonator), and checks by mail to 2665 N. Atlantic Ave, #312, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. You can also text '$10' to 386-401-5777.

Can I set up recurring giving?

Yes. Through the Olive Cove giving page, you can set up automatic scheduled giving by choosing your frequency, amount, fund, and number of installments. Monthly giving is the most sustainable way to support EBAC.

Can I make a one-time gift?

Absolutely. One-time gifts of any amount are welcome through the same giving page. Quick giving requires no account or login.

Are there any fees?

Online donations have a processing fee of 2.9% + $0.70 per transaction, which is charged to Olive Cove. You may optionally choose to cover this fee. Stock donations have a 1.9% processing fee. Setting up a StockDonator account is free.

How is my money used?

Your gift supports food, teacher salaries for the on-site ACE school, school supplies, clothing, medical needs, and the daily operational costs of running the EBAC orphanage and school.

How are funds disbursed to EBAC?

Olive Cove collects and holds donations, then disburses funds to EBAC on an agreed schedule. When you donate, you can select the specific fund to support through a dropdown menu on the giving page.

Can I track my giving history?

Yes. Creating a free account on the Olive Cove giving page lets you view your transaction history and access past receipts at any time.

Can I donate stock?

Yes. Olive Cove accepts stock shares, mutual funds, and ETFs through StockDonator. Setting up an account is free, and the processing fee is just 1.9%.

What is Olive Cove?

Olive Cove, Inc. is the fiscal sponsor for Hugs for Haiti, founded in 2016 by Pastor Cebien's daughter Alexis and her husband Mike Swittel in Daytona Beach, Florida. They handle all donation processing, tax receipts, and fund disbursement. Hugs for Haiti does not process donations directly.

What is the Candid Gold Seal?

The Candid Gold Seal of Transparency is the highest level of recognition from Candid (formerly GuideStar). It means Olive Cove's finances, leadership, and impact are publicly verified and fully transparent.

About Olive Cove

Olive Cove, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Ormond Beach, Florida, founded in 2016 by Mike Swittel (Grammy Award-winning producer) and Alexis Swittel (Pastor Cebien’s daughter) to formalize U.S.-based support for the EBAC ministry. Beyond EBAC, Olive Cove administers the R.E.A.C.H. program, providing uniforms, books, materials, and daily lunches to students across 85 schools throughout Haiti.
